How do I get my Texas Food Handlers certification?

I was charged twice. How do I get a refund?

We’re happy to look into it. The transaction may have been declined yet still resulted in a pending charge on your account. If this happens, the pending charge will not post to your account, but rather disappear or be reversed within a few business days.  Just give us a call at 214-584-6210 or email support@certifiedonthefly.com if you’d like us to check it out.

The website said my card declined, but my account was still charged

When your credit/debit card declines online or in-store, your account will usually still show a pending charge. This is standard procedure among banks that is completely out of our control. The pending charge(s) should not post to your account, but rather disappear or be reversed within a few business days.

Can I use another person’s credit card to pay for the online Texas Food Handlers course?

Sure, as long as you have their permission. Just make sure the billing information you enter on our website matches what is on file with the card issuer, or else the payment will be declined. Also, please give the cardholder a copy of the receipt and tell them the charge will appear on their statement as CERTIFIED ON THE FLY LLC.

Is your online Texas Food Handler course ANSI Accredited?

Certified On The Fly is licensed and accredited by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), not ANSI. All jurisdictions in Texas must accept certificates from either DSHS accredited or ANSI accredited providers, and they can not require you to register the certificate or charge you a fee for doing so.

No. The Texas Department of State Health Services does not mail certificates or cards. The certificate you receive on our website at the end of our course is your official document. No. Texas Food Handler certificates are valid for 2 years, at which time they permanently expire. When your Texas Food Handler certificate expires, you must complete an accredited course again and be issued a new certificate.

Is Certified On The Fly available for on-site Texas Food Handlers classes?

No. Certified On The Fly is only accredited to teach the Texas Food Handlers course online.

Is there an easy way to pay for my employees to take your online Texas Food Handler’s course?
